Donation & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting GOT Woman. Your generosity helps women grow in faith, find community, and build brighter futures. This policy explains how donations work, how we handle receipts and refunds, and how we protect donor privacy.

1. Who Receives Your Gift

GOT Woman is a program of GOT CONNECTIONS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Donations made on gotwomen.org go to GOT CONNECTIONS Foundation to support GOT Woman programs, events, mentorship, and outreach.

2. Tax Deductibility and Receipts

• Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor about your situation.
• You will receive an email receipt after each gift, including each monthly recurring gift. Please keep it for your records.
• Unless your receipt says otherwise, no goods or services were provided in exchange for your donation.
• Membership fees and event tickets are not donations. Only the part of a payment that is more than the value of any benefits you receive may be deductible.
• Need a year-end summary of your giving? Contact us and we will send one.

3. One-Time and Monthly Gifts

You may give once or set up a monthly gift. Monthly gifts are charged automatically to the same card on about the same day each month until you cancel. To change the amount, update your card, or cancel, reply to any donation receipt or send us a message through our contact form. Changes take effect before your next scheduled gift when we receive them at least 3 business days ahead.

4. Refunds

Donations are generally final. However, if you made a mistake (for example, the wrong amount or a duplicate gift) or see a charge you did not authorize, contact us within 30 days and we will refund it promptly. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Once refunded, the gift is no longer tax-deductible and any receipt for it is void.

5. How Gifts Are Used

Unless you tell us otherwise, gifts are used where they are needed most within GOT Woman programs. If a gift is designated for a specific purpose that is fully funded or no longer possible, we will use it for a closely related purpose that serves the same mission.

6. Secure Payments

All donations are processed by Stripe over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number.

7. Donor Privacy Promise

• We will never sell, rent, or trade your name or contact information.
• We will not list your name or gift amount publicly without your permission.
• Your contact details and giving history are kept in our secure CRM so we can thank you and send receipts. You may ask us to stop donor mailings at any time.
