Community Guidelines

Last updated: October 14, 2026

GOT Woman is a sisterhood built on faith, love, and respect. These guidelines help every woman feel safe and welcome at our events, in our chapters, in mentoring relationships, and in online spaces. They apply to members, guests, volunteers, and leaders.

1. Lead With Love and Respect

  • Treat every woman with kindness and dignity, whatever her background, age, race, story, or season of life.
  • Listen to understand. Disagree gracefully and never attack a person.
  • Encourage one another. Celebrate each other's wins.

2. Protect Confidentiality

What is shared in prayer circles, mentoring, and small groups stays there. Do not repeat someone's personal story, prayer request, or photo without her permission.

3. Zero Tolerance for Harm

The following are never allowed:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation, in person or online.
  • Hateful or discriminatory language or behavior.
  • Unwanted physical contact or sexual comments.
  • Sharing someone's private information without consent.

4. No Solicitation

Please do not use GOT Woman events, member lists, or online spaces to sell products, recruit for businesses, or ask for money without approval from GOT Woman leadership.

5. Safety of Young Women

Young women in our programs deserve extra care. Adults working with youth must follow our leadership's safety practices, including never meeting one-on-one with a minor in private and involving parents or guardians in communication.

6. Photos and Social Media

Ask before taking or posting photos of other women. Honor anyone who prefers not to be photographed. When posting about GOT Woman, share in a way that reflects our values.

7. Reporting a Concern

If something makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please tell an event host or chapter leader right away, or send a confidential message through our contact form with the subject "Confidential Concern." We will listen, take your concern seriously, and protect your privacy as much as possible. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911.

8. What Happens if Guidelines Are Broken

Depending on what happened, leadership may have a private conversation, ask a person to leave an event, or suspend or end a membership. Paid membership fees are not refunded when a membership is ended for a serious violation.

Thank you for helping keep GOT Woman a place where every woman can be inspired, supported, empowered, and make an IMPACT.
